My Story
Hello sweet friend,
We are so glad you are here!
If you are someone who lights up at the thought of a home that smells like fresh-baked cookies, a cozy cabin, or a blooming garden in springtime; you are in the right place.
Let me (Missy) tell you a little story….
Back in April of 2010, I stumbled across this magical little company called Scentsy on social media. At the time, Johnny and I were in the middle of a big life transition moving back home; after his retirement from the U.S. Air Force. We were adjusting to a new rhythm, and I was longing for something that felt joyful; something just for me.
I didn’t know much about Scentsy, but I loved the idea of a home that smelled amazing. It sounded like happiness in a warmer. So, after some pondering, praying, and a little leap of faith, I signed up.
Here’s s the truth: we didn’t even have the extra $99 to join. I put the starter kit on a credit card (gasp!) ;and as big Dave Ramsey fans, that was not something we took lightly. My first goal? Earn that $99 back. And by God’s grace, I did. Fast. (Plus, I scored some free and half-priced goodies, which totally sealed the deal!)
And would you believe I had never even seen or smelled Scentsy in person before signing up. My first sniff? Came straight from that little box on my doorstep. It was love at first scent.
Fast forward to today …
We have raised three amazing kids who have now given us the greatest gifts: six sweet grand-babies who call us MiMi and PaPa. Our Scentsy journey has brought so much more than fragrance. It’s brought freedom, joy, new friends who feel like family, unforgettable adventures (hello, earned trips!), and even a way to give back.
In 2023, another dream came true, ;Johnny left corporate America and joined me full-time in our Scentsy business! Now we work side-by-side, mentoring an incredible team of rockstars and helping others begin their own stories; many for $0 upfront (yes, really!). If that tugs at your heart a little, we should definitely talk.. We’d love to walk you through it step by step.
